Director’s Message

• The people of Afghanistan for tremendous support during demining operations specifically; the people of Salang district in Parwan and Khost provinces for sharing their breakfast with the deminers; and local councils and Communities in Kandahar, Jalalabad and Parwan for sponsoring the provision of lunch.

• To the Government of Afghanistan for understanding the value of works done by deminers to stop the killing of innocent people by Mine/UXO.

• To UNMACA for their coordination and cooperation to facilitate financial support to ATC for last 19 years.
• To the European Union for funding a big portion of ATC directly for five consecutive years.

• To the United States of America for funding and supporting ATC by providing machine, Dogs, and Manual Mine Clearance assets and encouraging the commercial entity of HDI to be self-sufficient.
